Handling a Labeling Equipment
I worked part time on a store that sells computer related accessories, software, hardware and other miscellaneous stuff related to computers. The product that is easily sold out in our store is the CD and DVD’s that we have for sale. Even I, buy a few of them from time to time because of the cute logo’s and designs on the CD’s. I often wonder if the companies that produce these CD’s use print & apply labeling equipment. I never expected that I would have the opportunity to work on this very same labeling equipment, when I was recommended by a friend to work on their company.
Their company handle’s the labeling, wrapping and distribution of CD’s/DVD’s in our area. At first, I thought that it was one of those complicated equipments that I saw on T.V and I would have a hard time in operating it. My friend told me all the things that I need to know about it and it made me realize that I don’t have to do much, because the machine will handle everything by itself. All I need to do is make sure that the print is properly placed and check if the colors are within their proper levels.
