I had a local jewelry store owner offer me a commission based sales position. I would be able to sell diamond jewelry and travel all around the state and bring in a nice salary at the same time. Since I actually did sell diamond jewelry in a department store when I was in college, I knew a little about settings and the entire necessary lingo that I would need to make some big sales.

I took him up on the deal and started out on a new career. My first goal was to sell engagement ring samples to most of the vendors that are on my route. If they buy the samples then their customers are more likely to see it, and request the same thing. I know that we cannot possibly sell engagement ring samples to everyone but I am really going to try.

My first month on the job I had a goal to sell diamond jewelry to at least six of the seven toughest sales in the business. I only made five sales but my boss was really impressed since his last salesman could never get those places to buy anything. I keep setting new goals and reaching about seventy five percent of them. The commission is great and I love my new job.

The Scottsdale basketball league starts very soon and I have put together a great team this year. I think that we might be the team to beat this year from everything I hear. So, I have told my entire Scottsdale adult basketball league team to not tell anyone else where we are practicing and when so they cannot check us out till the first game.

I remember when I first started playing on the Scottsdale adult basketball league about three years ago and my team was the worst. We did not win any games the entire season and came in last at the tournament. In fact, I guess that everyone said that we were the worst team to ever be involved with the league. It made me more determined to put together a winning team for the next year and an even better one this year.

I have been almost recruiting players from other teams to see if they want to be part of the best or are just doing it for fun and most of them want to be on a winning team so it has been quite easy. When the other teams on the Scottsdale basketball league get a look at my team this year, they will all want to join me next year.

I called my old buddy from college since I knew that he was an insurance agent now and asked him to get me some life insurance quotes. He asked me if I had ever had any type of life insurance before and I had to tell him that this would be my first. He responded by saying that he would be happy to get me some life insurance quotes and get me set up with one of the most important things that you can do. He added that it is also one of the most responsible things that you can do, getting life insurance. Being set for anything is very important and a lot of people have not taken that step yet.

I looked over the quotes from my buddy when he got them to me about a week later and it looked that the quickest way to get everything all set up would be to go with no medical exam life insurance and get the papers signed. I was very happy when everything was set into place; the no medical exam life insurance policy that I signed made me feel like I was ready for anything. I knew that if anything happened to me, my family would be taken care of.

I have been looking at different systems for cashing my customers out and I have come to the conclusion that first, I cannot afford a new system and second that if I do even get one, it will be a used point of sale equipment system. I just happened to stumble upon a site that sold all used pos equipment when I was ready to give up looking altogether.

I found a discussion board and asked if anyone else had ever heard of the used pos equipment site that I had found and if they did good quality business. I think that I had read that they sold refurbished used point of sale equipment along with new pos equipment. I was very interested in how companies were refurbishing everything these days and reselling it for such lower prices than all the new stuff. I had bought some refurbished electronics last spring and it all works really great.

I am hoping that I get some people to respond to my question on the used point of sale equipment site. I will be planning on ordering, installing and hopefully using the new system this fall if I hear that they are good products.
