Most of the people want wooden fences in their garden. The most common reason for this choice is the beautiful look which wooden fences give to garden. They add a special accent to your garden and your house exterior. But wooden fences have their own disadvantages as well. Wooden fences are beautiful no doubt but they demand lot of maintenance and care for their long life and continuous beauty.
Vinyl fencing is the best alternative to wooden fencing. It looks as beautiful and delicate as the wooden fences but it does not require such huge expenses on its maintenance and upkeep. Wooden fences need regular and routine painting, scrapping, peeling etc to keep their beautiful look. Otherwise their color fades out.
Vinyl fences don’t need peeling and scrapping. They are available in beautiful and delicate colors of your own choice. You have limited choices in case of wooden fences. But vinyl fencing gives a huge margin in color choices. They retain their beauty for long periods. In fact no realistic maintenance is needed for these fences.
You don’t need to paint them as they retain their colors even after years and that is the main advantage and selling point of vinyl fences that you can have a beautiful garden exterior without paying so much effort. They also resist environmental effects and don’t crack or break. It does not have the danger of rotting. That is the negative point of wooden fences.

Selective Laser Sintering is a method of designing objects through rapid manufacturing technique. A powerful laser like CD Laser is used with metal or plastic to make 3D objects. A 3D object is designed in the computer with the help of CAD design and then laser fuse the powdered and scan the cross sections of the design and convert it into the physical form layer by layer.
As compared to other prototyping methods, SLS method have wide range of materials to make the objects like polymers, nylon, polyester, stainless-steel, titanium and green sand. Basically, there are three different ways to build an object; partial melting, liquid phase and sintering. Depending upon the material, through SLS you can get the 100% real properties of the object as you desired.
The matches used in SLS are called SLS System, the very common and trusted machine in SLS production is Sinterstation SLS System. This method of prototyping is widely used in the market because of its speed and the ability to make complex designed with in short span of time.
SLS prototyping was firstly introduced by Dr. Carl Deckard professor in the Texas University during the 80s. This project is sponsored by DARPA, before this in 1979 a very similar process was made but it was not introduced in the market. Unlike the other prototyping methods, this method is fast, reliable and gives 100% results to make the new objects.

Attributes like speed, quality, ease of use and convenience as well as flexibility have rendered the rapid prototypes one of the most popular manufacturing methodologies in the commercial world today. The system is used by almost all the designers and engineers in the manufacturing industry. It provides a greater understanding of the designs and complexities involved in any manufacturing process. In addition it is a rapid tooling for manufacturing industry.
That is why almost all the people involved in some type of manufacturing or other use the technology. Such people include surgeons, architects, artists and other individuals not to mention the Engineers across the globe. In fact the use of prototypes to give the final shape to any new product has become almost a routine affair to day.
Field of rapid prototyping is quite vast and widespread. However, the designers often take a holistic view and refer to all the specific processes with the same nomenclature, rapid prototyping. Individual methods however vary from each other. These methods include stereolithography, SLS, FDM, LOM and 3DP. Each of these methods is rapid prototyping in their own rights. However they are not identical and each of them has its own respective strength and weaknesses.
All said and done, rapid prototyping continues to grow as despite its criticism and weaknesses pointed out, it is the only method that could ensure formation of the object from STL to part in 24 hours
