My friend just has a website built by a company. They were also providing him with services to help promote is new site. They offer a one way link building service and article writing and so on. This was really helping his site to rank well in a short time.

Then all of a sudden he got mad about them building a website for one of his competitors and he left them. He had his website hosted somewhere else and started to lose rank fast. He thought he could handle his own link building and so on, but he could not keep up with it.

It turns out, the company that built his website for him was doing things behind the scenes to help his website rank better. The only problem is that he did not know that and when he left them his site lost some rank and decreased in traffic. Next time, he will be sure to talk with his web company to discuss an issue and not just get mad and leave them.

Their one way links that they were getting him were very high quality and he should not have left them. Now he can’t gain any good links and is losing jobs over it because he is not ranking as well. It never pays to jump to conclusions and get all mad at someone just for doing their job. My friend wishes he had never left them.
