Prepare Yourself For A Punch To The Boxing Bag

Before you start your boxing bag training, you should take some precautionary measures. In this way you can enjoy the benefits of this training, without getting hurt or injured during your training sessions. When punching a heavy Bag, take care of the following points;
I. Firstly, protect your hands by covering them with gloves.
II. Do no lean on an increased angle this will give the bag, a chance to hit you back.
III. Do not raise your fist high, as it will increase the chance of hitting to the board over the bag.
IV. Do not tighten up your arms. Relax your arms, when punching with full strength.
V. Tighten up your fist. Letting it loose will injure your fist.
VI. In the beginning, start punching with little force and gradually increase the level of force.
VII. In the beginning, hit the bag softly, this will make you count the hits clearly.
VIII. Keep moving your fists by continuously punching the bag.
IX. Do not drop your arms while punching. This will make punching harder for you.
X. Keep your arms and fists, up in the proper position.
XI. In the beginning, you will need to keep contact of your eyes with the bag, but eventually your motions will be in a guided position and you won’t be in need of keeping an eye contact with the boxing bag.
XII. Adjustment of the bag at proper height is very important. It helps to avoid unnecessary strain on your muscles.
Following the above mentioned tips will definitely help you out to improve your strength while the heavy boxing bag training.
