Reputed and expert physicians are always the prime target of any of the institutions that are undertaking recruitment for Physician Employment. However physicians are subject to the age old criteria of demand and supply. The number of such physicians available is far below the requirements all around the nation. Therefore on many occasions the institutions are forced to find out substitutes for their purposes.
Fortunately, as you can find out on surfing the website, there are people who can to some extent compensate the absence of the regular physicians. One of the categories is the Locum Tenens who fill out the temporary vacancies arising due to absence of some of the regular physicians. However, they can only perform the jobs for temporary periods as they do not have the experience and expertise of the regular physicians to carry out the job on long term basis.
The other category that of the people performing the Hospitalist Jobs is more competent to perform the jobs of physicians with their background of training and experience. Their numbers are also on the rise. A recent survey has revealed that people in the age group of 40 or below normally take to the job and 73% of the persons who have taken up the profession are male by gender. The best part of it is that 82% of them are trained in internal medicine and 87% are US medical school graduates and could perform Doctor Jobs at the time of emergencies.
